Happy Halloween! Let us start by saying we hope everyone has a safe, fun, and exciting Halloween 2010. This weekend marks the end of the Halloween events in the Lehigh Valley for this year. Here is a list of events you don’t want to miss!
The Haunting at the Waldorf Hotel, located at 180 Deleware Ave, Palmerton, PA where nightmares become reality from 7-10pm this Friday and Saturday night! With two terrifying haunts to choose from, the Waldorf features over 2 dozen rooms of horror, over 40 live actors to frighten you, and so much more. This is the sixth year for the Waldorf, but this year is all-new with special effects not seen before.
Tickets are $12.00 per person per venue or purchase the combo ticket for both venues for $20.00 per person. You can buy tickets online, but be sure to use code SCAREME for a $2.00 discount. The Haunting at the Waldorf is not recommended for children under 12 due to the scare tactics used in this believed to be really haunted hotel.
Halls of Horror, also located in Palmerton, PA at 320 Deleware Ave, is a haunted house like no other! Tickets are available at the door for $10.00 per person and are open from 7-11pm Friday and Saturday night. The first time I went to Halls of Horror was last year and it was my favorite haunted house last year. This year I went again on Friday night and AGAIN it is the best haunted house I have been to this year. Actor’s make a haunted house and the actors in Halls of Horror are great. They are always in character and rea…lly get to you. I like when I feel a bit scared the actor recognizes that and continues to keep at you. You guys ROCK! Easton Haunts, located in Easton, PA at the 13th Street Exit on Route 22 features the 13th Street Fear Factor and the area’s first and only 3D Haunted House! Easton Haunts is two terrifying haunted attractions with over 15,000 sq. ft., scores of rooms, and 35 live actors. Open Friday and Saturday from 7-11pm and on Sunday from 7-10pm, with general admission for $20.00. Tickets can be bought online or at the door.
In the 3D Haunted Fun House, brilliant colors come to life in this whimsical attraction, unfortunately, things aren’t always what they seem and it’s up to you to determine what is real and what is an illusion. Be careful because sometimes illusions become reality…
The Legendary Jason’s Woods, located at 99 Stehman Road, Lancaster, PA has 9 hair raising haunted attractions that promise to make you wish you stayed home!
With snarling wolves in pursuit…
Frantically… follow your trusted guide through the entrance of a forbidding cave. Suddenly… within the darkness you’ll sense their presence, even smell the decaying flesh still clinging to the long, coarse hair covering their deformed bodies. Slowly, the walls seem to “close in.” Struggling for the exit, you are now a victim to the NEW CLAUSTROPHBIA EXPERIENCE at Jason’s Woods!
Prices are very reasonable with the 5 Show Combo for $25.00, VIP 5 Show Combo (no waiting) $40.00, 9 Show Grand Slam $45.00, or the VIP 9 Show Combo for $60.00. Jason’s Woods is open Friday and Saturday from 7-10pm and Sunday from 7-9pm, with fireworks to mark the close of Halloween 2010 on Saturday, October 30th.
