Roller coasters and water slides are among the first things that come to mind when planning something fun in the Lehigh Valley, simply because there is such a large variety of amusement and water parks in and around our area. Each one offers something different for just about any age and tolerance level!
Dorney Park & Wild Water Kingdom, two great parks for the price of one, is located in Allentown and features over 200 acres of more than 100 rides and attractions for guests of all ages. The purchase of one ticket allows access to both the rides and the water park.
Dutch Springs, also known as the floating amusment park, is located in Bethlehem and is home to water adventures, scuba diving, camping, the sky challenge, and more. Season passes are available and is also a great place to have a unique birthday party!
Slightly outside of the Lehigh Valley, visit Knoebels Amusement Resort, located in Elysburg. Voted “Best Park for Families” Knoebels features world class roller coasters, swimming, camping, and so much more.
America’s largest free admission amusement park, also offering free parking, free use of picnic facilities and free entertainment. Nestled in a beautiful pine and hardwood forest, Knoebels is a traditional park where you can still catch the brass ring on the Grand Carousel.
