Led by REALTOR® Scott Busfield, the team combines today’s technology and marketing with more than 30 years of local real estate experience. The team was originally founded by Barb Bottitta and has transitioned leadership to Scott while continuing the LVhomeExpert Tradition of local knowledge, personal service and results.

Scott looks at a house with the training of an engineer and the experience of a do-it-yourself homeowner.  He can see the pluses and minuses of a house and can help you envision the possibilities of your dream home.  If you are a Seller, Scott will use our team’s comprehensive marketing plan designed to get you the best price and terms for your home. For Buyers, he will advocate for your best interests and go all out to help you acquire the home of your dreams at a price you can afford.

Scott is originally from Michigan but has been a Lehigh Valley homeowner for 10+ years.  His wife, Lisa, is Director of Dance, Moravian University and on the Dance Faculty at Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts. They are the proud parents of Ethan and Aiden. Scott is an avid hunter, dirt bike rider and cyclist who enjoys being outdoors with his sons and helping to coach Ethan’s Northampton youth soccer teams.

During his first year in Real Estate Scott closed 5 times the number of transactions of most rookie agents. His subsequent years of work have given him the experience and know how to work well with buyers and sellers, guiding them and advocating for them though all the steps of today’s complex real estate transactions. I had the opportunity to work alongside Barb for four years before she decided it was time to retire her Pennsylvania real estate license and entrust me with leading the team she built. Today, Barb remains an important part of the Lehigh Valley Home Expert Team as an unlicensed assistant, sharing her decades of experience and helping us maintain the high level of service our clients have come to expect. Barb was committed to education throughout her career. She earned the Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation in 1991 (which placed her among the top four percent of Realtors nationwide) and the Graduate, REALTOR® Institute (GRI) designation, developing extensive knowledge of residential real estate, investment properties, new construction, marketing and mortgage programs. In 2023, BestAgents.us recognized Barb as a Top Agent for her three decades of service to Lehigh Valley buyers and sellers. Barb may have stepped away from being a licensed REALTOR®, but she hasn’t stepped away from the team. I’m proud to carry forward what she created—and the standard she established for putting our clients first.

Lou Bottitta

Technology Consultant

Lou brings something unique to our team: more than 40 years of information technology experience combined with firsthand knowledge of the real estate business. As our Technology Consultant, Lou manages the technology behind the Lehigh Valley Home Expert Team, including our website, database systems, digital tools and staff technology training. He helps us evaluate and put new technology—including today’s rapidly evolving AI tools—to practical use for our clients and our business. Lou is also a former licensed Pennsylvania REALTOR® and earned the National Association of REALTORS® e-PRO® designation for expertise in real estate technology and digital marketing. That combination of technology and real estate experience helps keep our team ahead of the curve. Before retiring, Lou spent much of his career with Lehigh Valley Health Network, where he helped lead technology initiatives involving wireless computing, barcoding, analytics and other emerging technologies. Outside of real estate, Lou is an avid tennis player and cyclist. He has served as Public Image Chair for Rotary District 7430, volunteers with several community organizations, and helped coach the Salisbury High School tennis teams for nine years. Most importantly, Lou greatly enjoys his favorite role: being a granddad.

Lisa Bottitta Busfield

Unlicensed Assistant

Lisa works as an unlicensed assistant on the Team, helping with schedules, paperwork, photos, signs, social media, website updates and other tasks that do not require a Realtor’s license. Lisa received her Ed.M. in Dance Education from Temple University with a B.A. in Dance and a minor in Business Administration from Muhlenberg College.  In addition to growing up in a real estate family, she worked part-time in a Title company while in college. Lisa is trained and experienced as a dance educator, dancer, and choreographer with a demonstrated history of working in the higher education field, conservatory programs, and the private sector. She served as the education director and administrative manager for Muhlenberg Community Dance Center. Lisa is the Artistic Director of Dance at Moravian University and served on the dance faculty for Muhlenberg College for over 15 years. Lisa is a representative of the Lehigh Valley Association of Independent College’s Dance Consortium. She is a proud, imvolved “soccer mom” to Ethan and Aiden.
