The Lehigh Valley real estate market is reflective of the current economic recovery. The number of closed sales in June 2013 increased by 9.2% since the same time last year and Lehigh Valley homes are selling 15.4% faster than last year at this time, according to the Lehigh Valley Association of Realtors (LVAR) latest report.
The number of homes for sale in the Lehigh Valley decreased by 12.7% since last June, meaning there is less of an inventory for buyers to choose from, the recipe for a sellers market. Here’s a look at how the national real estate market is doing in comparison to the Lehigh Valley:
