The Lehigh Valley has a number of Easter egg hunts and other activities planned for your little ones this year, and they start this weekend! Whether you’re closer to Allentown, Bethlehem or Easton, you’ll find Easter fun and visits from the Easter Bunny to ring in the Spring season!
Community Easter Egg Hunt at Emmanuel Assembly of God, located at 1431 Lehigh Parkway East. On March 23 at 11:00am, your children will enjoy an Easter egg hunt, an egg relay race and other games, face painting, an egg decorating contest, singing and more, followed by light refreshments! St. Thomas More School is hosting their second annual Knights of Columbus Easter Egg Hunt for parish members on March 23. The hunt will take place at 10:00am in the front lawn of St. Thomas More Church, located at 1040 Flexer Avenue.
The Alton Park Lions will host an Easter egg hunt at 1:30pm on March 23 at Alton Park Field for age groups 1 through 10. The rain date is March 30. The Alton Park Field is located on Oxford Dr.
The Bethlehem Bureau of Recreation will have its annual, free Easter Egg Hunt at 10:00am on March 23 on the front lawn of Memorial Pool on Illick’ Mill Road, for children between the ages of 3 and 8, and it will be held rain or shine!
There will be a free Peeps Hunt and visit from the Easter Bunny at 1:30pm on March 31 at Levitt Pavilion SteelStacks! Other Easter events at SteelStacks include a brunch and a screening of the movie “Hop”, also on March 31 and screenings of “The Passion of the Christ” March 28-30.
There will be an Easter Egg Hunt and visit from the Easter Bunny at the Bethlehem Township Community Center on March 23, however the time has not yet been announced. The Community Center is located at 2900 Farmersville Road and you can call 610-332-1900 for more information.
The City of Easton Recreation Bureau will host its annual Easter Egg Hunt at 11:30am on March 24 at Cottingham Stadium, and is for children ages 4 through 7. In addition to the Easter Bunny visiting for pictures, there will be dancing and a magic show! This event will be held rain or shine. You can call 610-250-6711 for more information.
The North Catasauqua Fire Department will host its 2013 Easter Egg Hunt at 1:00pm on March 23 in North Catasauqua Park, located at 701 Grove St. Children can compete for prizes in their different age groups and will also have the opportunity to meet the Easter Bunny and get their picture taken with him! The rain date is March 24.
I’ll always remember how much my children enjoyed hunting for Easter eggs and getting their pictures taken with the Easter Bunny and I hope your family has just as much fun this weekend and next!
