The picturesque region of the Lehigh Valley provides an ideal grape growing environment, and our area’s close location to Philadelphia and New York City make the Lehigh Valley Wine Trail a beautiful and easy escape for wine lovers! Consisting of eight family-owned vineyards and wineries, the commitment to producing premium wines goes quite far.
We have brought home the Governor’s Cup for nine out of the last ten years and won countless regional, state, national and international awards, including more than 50 for wines made from Chambourcin, it’s our signature grape. Designated an American Viticultural Area (AVA) in 2008, the Lehigh Valley is Pennsylvania’s fastest growing wine region.
The Lehigh Valley Wine Trail is home to numerous events throughout the year, one of the most popular being March Madness, in which you purchase a passport for $35 at any of the eight family-owned wineries and then visiting each of the wineries during the first four weekends in March.
As you visit the vineyards and wineries you will be offered delicious wine and food pairings to sample. Your passport will be stamped during each visit and then entered into a drawing for additional prizes once it is completed with stamps from all eight wineries. Each passport holder will also receive a Lehigh Valley Wine Trail gift. The 2013 gift is a picnic wine tote!
