Downtown Allentown of the greater Lehigh Valley is ringing in 2012 by having their first ever Restaurant Week, with 9 restaurants participating to give locals and visitors alike a taste of great food for a portion of the regular prices. From January 9-15, 2012 every time you eat at one of the participating restaurants, you will have the opportunity to enter to win gift certificates, other prizes, passes to events, and much more!
This is a perfect family event or something you can do all by yourself as a first in 2012, as well as the perfect way to get introduced to the food if you are new to the area. In addition to the food being offered for less than the regular prices, you will also enjoy free parking after 5 p.m. at the Spiral Deck at Eighth and Linden streets and at the Farr Lot. On-street metered parking is free after 6 p.m., giving no excuse not to come to downtown Allentown to take part in Restaurant Week!

Allentown Brew Works – you can check out their menu ahead of time to see everything they have to offer!
Island in the Sun – they have also provided their menu to give you a peek at their food choices!
Sangria – here’s their menu so you can go knowing what Mediterranean dish’s await!
Each of these 9 restaurants has amazing food just waiting to be tasted by you during the first time downtown Allentown Restaurant Week. The Hamilton District Main Street Program is proud to make this event possible, and is also supported by The Chamber, WLEV Radio, Express Business Center, The Express-Times, lehighvalleylive.com, and the City of Allentown.
