Allentown Municipal Golf Course
This 18 hole championship public golf course comes complete with a lighted driving range, new range balls, and is open from 9am-5pm daily (weather permitting). With competitive pricing, Allentown Municipal Golf Course has become a favorite for Lehigh Valley locals to enjoy a game of golf…or two. The course underwent reconstruction in 1998 which included new greens with sculptured bunkers and two ponds. New tees were also built to provide better playing conditions and fairway irrigation was installed in 2000. A.M.G.C. is coming off its best year ever and is a must play, you will not be disappointed. Iron Lakes Country Club
Iron Lakes has been recognized as one of the top public courses in the area, which features a unique, challenging course with elevated tees, sloping fairways, and water hazards. When you play at Iron Lakes, you not only enjoy the presence of 100-year-old trees, but the modern amenities of irrigation down both sides of the fairway from tee to green. Save the date for the “Battle at Iron Lakes” on Saturday, May 21, the first annual tournament to promote local awareness and research funded by the Prostate Cancer Foundation (PCF). Bethlehem Golf Club
This 18 hole championship golf course was named one of the best places to play by Golf Digest and was voted Best in the Valley 2007, 2008, and 2009 by Lehigh Valley Magazine – 100 must play courses in Philadelphia Area. Try your golf skills at this country club-like golf course and you will see why Bethlehem Golf Club has received the many accolades it has. Located at 400 Illicks Mill Rd, Bethlehem.
Green Pond Country Club
Known as the “golfers choice in the Lehigh Valley”, this challenging 18 hole golf course, complete with excellent service and welcoming staff, will have even the most fluent golfers using every club in their bag. The facility has a full-service lounge as well as a golf pro available for lessons, a popular junior golf membership, and a pro shop stocked with quality golf products for your convenience. Riverview Country Club
Riverview Country Club is set along the scenic Delaware River Corridor and offers an upscale 18 hole championship golf course that has quickly established itself as one of the areas premier public golf facilities. With its consistently great course conditions and beautiful panoramic views, Riverview is a must play. Riverview is also host to a number of local professional and amateur events including the Philadelphia Section PGA KNBT Lehigh Valley Open, the Philadelphia Assistant’s Organization Lehigh Valley Classic, the Golf Association of the Lehigh Valley Better Ball of Partner’s Championship, and the annual Pocono Pro-Am. Southmoore Golf Course
Golf Digest has given a 4-star rating to Southmoore Golf Course for “Best Places to Play”, and it’s no surprise, as they have established themselves as the premier public golf course in the Lehigh Valley and Eastern Pennsylvania, offering country club conditions at public club prices. Southmoore is also home to the Jim Muschlitz Golf Academy. His accomplishments include eight-time Bethlehem City Champion, four-time Lehigh Valley Amateur Champion, 1981 United States Amateur Qualifier, 1985 United States Publinks Qualifier, and 1993,1996 & 1999 Nike Tour events. Southmoore Golf Course is located at 235 Moorestown Drive, Bath.
Willowbrook Golf Club
Willowbrook is one of the Lehigh Valley area’s newest golf courses, with a driving range, full practice area, advanced tee times, a bar and grill, and so much more. The front nine offers both beauty and challenge. The beautiful Catasauqua Creek comes into play on five holes along with some exciting elevation changes. The back nine is slightly more open with sweeping doglegs, which call for a diversity of shot making. The course fairways are fully irrigated and the greens are bent grass. Willow Brook is located at 1364 Howertown Road, Catasauqua.
