Consider yourself warned! Dorney Park’s Halloween Haunt is sure to be one of the scariest Halloween attractions in the Lehigh Valley. Opening night is tonight, Friday, September 24, 201o. Starting at 6pm, step into a world of ghouls, ghosts, the un-dead, indoor and outdoor mazes, and scare factors not meant for children under 13.
Every year Dorney Park is completely transformed into a dark playland filled with haunted houses, monsters, scary attractions, and heart-pounding fear to add fun and excitement to your weekends in October. Take a look at last year’s Halloween Haunt to get an idea of what you are in for!
This year there are 7 outdoor mazes and 4 indoor mazes to get through if you can, as well as the show “Fangs ‘n’ Freaks. “Vampires, blood and rock n’ roll explode onto the stage in this all-new seductive after-life revue. This clan is born to be wild and is looking for action. Break on through to the other side and get bitten! Shows in the Ghoul Time Theatre”.
If you have little ones, Halloween Haunt is not recommended after 6pm due to the heightened “scare factor”. So for them, Dorney Park offers Boo Blast, with trick-or-treating, a straw bale maze, and other kid-friendly Halloween fun! Boo Blast opens Sunday, September 26 from noon to 5pm.
Families enjoy scare-free zones during Boo-Blast hours of Noon until 5 p.m. Boo! Blast at Dorney Park is a family friendly celebration for kids from Noon to 5 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. The younger ones will enjoy a magical fun-house, trick-or-treating and mask-making for kids under 56″ tall, a treasure hunt for a pirate costume, a pumpkin patch and hay-maze, a Monster Bash Dance Party and all the fun rides of Camp Spooky and Tot Spot. Plus, an all-new Children’s Costume Contest for the kids to show off their Halloween best. See the map for all the spooktacular locations.
