Fireworks events can be found all over The Lehigh Valley for the entire 4th of July weekend, starting on Friday, July 2 with a wonderful display at the Harman Geist Stadium in Hazelton beginning at dusk.  Pottsville will host their fireworks show at 7pm at the Veterans Memorial Stadium, and in Whitehall visit the Cement Belt Fair for their fireworks show starting at 10pm.  Last but not least, The Riverside Barr & Grill on the Deleware River, 7 miles north of Easton, will not only be hosting their fireworks display, but are celebrating their annual Red, White, and Brew Bash!  This party features Fireworks, a bonfire, a hot dog eating contest, live music, and much more!

On Saturday, July 3rd, visit Brookside Country Club in Macungie for their fireworks show at 9pm.  In Palmerton, Sunny Rest Lodge will start their fireworks show at 9:15pm. Catasauqua begins at 9pm at the Alumni Field, with their rain date being July 4th.

The majority of The Lehigh Valley’s firework events take place on Sunday, July 4th, starting with the ever-popular show by Dorney Park in Allentown, starting at 9:30pm.  Visit Dorney Park on Saturday and Sunday for a weekend of celebration and fun!

July 3,4 – Celebrate America Weekend with Independence Day Fireworks

Funnel cake eating contest at 1, 3, & 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday (located on Main Midway near Coasters restaurant)

Kid’s ice cream eating contest follows funnel cake contest at 1:30, 3:30, and 5:30 p.m.

Celebrate America Hometown U.S.A. Parade Saturday at 9 p.m. on the Main Midway.

Independence Day Fireworks Show Sunday at 9:30 p.m. Never before at Dorney a patriotic and inspiration soundtrack will accompany this years fireworks show. The show is produced by the world renowned Zambelli Fireworks Team.

Also in Allentown, visit J. Birney Crum Stadium at 9pm for their annual display of amazing fireworks.  Bethlehem will have their fireworks display at Sand Island, starting at 9pm, and   Quakertown’s fireworks will be held at Memorial Park and will begin at 9:30pm.

With all of the fireworks events happening in and around The Lehigh Valley this weekend, everyone can celebrate the independence of our nation with color and fun!  When you hear the telltale sound of fireworks, look up, you are bound to see them even if you are not able to get to one of venues!
